What did you try to fix to mongodb bug? I see nothing relevant in git and besides entirely disabling MongoDB support I don't see what you could have tried given that the library is gone and that the replacement library[1] is not packaged in Debian currently AFAIK. I filed an upstream ticket[2] to get the ball rolling upstream.
