Package: perl-modules-5.24 Version: 5.24.1~rc3-2 Severity: serious It looks like we stopped Providing perl-modules in 5.24 but missed transitioning its reverse dependencies.
As stated in the commit message of https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/perl/perl.git/commit/?id=eae8645a080c81093fd4a5479c9889cbb9a8a13f "This will need changing ~35 packages in unstable to drop build and runtime dependencies on perl-modules." Unfortunately we seem to have forgotten to actually push that through. According to the same commit message, the reason for dropping the Provides entry was coinstallability between perl-modules-5.22 and perl-modules-5.24. At the time perl-modules-5.22 conflicted unconditionally with perl-modules, but this was later changed to a versioned conflict (see #821161). I think we should be able to simply reinstate the Provides without other changes, but will to do some testing to confirm.
