Package: qterminal Version: 0.6.1~102-g58f4f72-1 Severity: normal I just installed the font "inconsolata" (from package fonts-inconsolata), and set it in the preferences of qterminal.
Now when I do a "ls" (with ls color as default), on qterminal I find that some names (directories, in bold blue) are stripped, missing the last part of name (either letters or final part of a letter). This is due to the start of the new column in "ls". lxterminal doesn't have this behaviour (it display normal and bold fonts with "inconsolata" , and it display the text correctly. I tested it in sid and experimental. On both versions, qterminal uses the wrong (default?) font for bold. ciao cate -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.7.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages qterminal depends on: ii libc6 2.24-3 ii libgcc1 1:6.2.0-5 ii libqt5core5a 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5gui5 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5widgets5 5.6.1+dfsg-3+b1 ii libqt5x11extras5 5.6.1-2 ii libqtermwidget5-0 0.7.0-3 ii libstdc++6 6.2.0-5 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.3-1 qterminal recommends no packages. qterminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
