I'm attaching a small patch to fix this problem as suggested by upstream https://github.com/neutrinolabs/xrdp/commit/9c31bd5cc428d912194fc11d5706520473922853#commitcomment-20822199 I would very much appreciate it if the fix would be included in stretch, because this bug causes normal Japanese users to get incorrect keyboard input.
