I have adopted the bluefish package in Debian. I have reported this
problem to the bluefish bug system
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=792965). I have reported
this error to the authors: They can not reproduce the error with
version 2.2.10. Can you reproduce the error with

Entering Unicode via the GTK+ mechanism of ctrl-shift-u fails when any of
the hex digits are keyboard accelerators, as they are grabbed by the program in
their accelerator capacity. E.g., trying to enter the RLM mark (U+200F) fails
