I updated the package to the latest upstream version 1.6.5. All of the work related to the package moved from alioth to salsa (https://salsa.debian.org/eugulixes-guest/elixir-lang). I had to temporarily disable the "gets and compiles dependencies for Rebar" test because it caused some problems,
