Package: debocker Version: 0.2.1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The current version-parsing code (Package.version()) is too strict and chokes on valid versions, like ubntu packages (e.g. 1.0-0ubuntu1), or NMUs (1.0-1.1) or the format sometimes used for RCs (1.0-0~rc1). Maybe you could use python3-debian's "changelog" module to take over a bit of the work? This would probably make debocker a bit more future-proof ;) Cheers -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (150, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.12.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages debocker depends on: ii python3 3.5.3-3 ii python3-click 6.7-1 Versions of packages debocker recommends: ii docker.io 1.13.1~ds1-2 debocker suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
