If nobody steps in, I would prepare and upload a backport.
I use prosody 0.10 on stable anyway, together with biboumi, which I
already backported.

While a clean and supported backport is desirable, one can install the
0.10.0-1 package on stretch. For me, it just works. YMMV. You need the
latest prosody-modules, too.
