* Package name : xcwd Upstream Author : Adrien Schildknecht <adrien+...@schischi.me> * URL : https://github.com/schischi/xcwd/ * License : BSD-3-clause Programming Lang: C Description : X current working directory Xcwd is a simple tool which prints the current working directory of the focused window. It's useful for launching applications directly into the same directory as the focused application - for instance, you might want to launch a new terminal in the same directory as your editor. Xcwd is, by the author's own admission, an ugly hack; however, it works with xterm(1) and urxvt(1), so it's still generally useful. In the absence of a proper way to get this information, it's probably better than nothing. In any case, I use it and would like to be able to apt install it rather than scping it everywhere.
