Package: gnome-control-center Version: 1:3.26.2-1 Severity: normal I have a Logitech Marble Mouse USB Trackball. The button mapping puts "back" on the small left button, which I find inconvenient. Under X11 I remap this to "middle" using
xinput set-button-map "Logitech USB Trackball" "1 8 3 4 5 6 7 2 9" or an appropriate Xorg configuration snippet. However with Wayland there doesn't seem to be a command line way to achieve this; https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Libinput suggests I should be using the appropriate graphical tool. Under GNOME I think this is gnome-control-center but I can't see any way to remap buttons using it. gnome-tweak-tool doesn't seem to offer anything either. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.14.0+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-control-center depends on: ii accountsservice 0.6.45-1 ii apg 2.2.3.dfsg.1-5 ii colord 1.3.3-2 ii desktop-file-utils 0.23-2 ii gnome-control-center-data 1:3.26.2-1 ii gnome-desktop3-data 3.26.2-1 ii gnome-settings-daemon 3.26.2-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.24.1-1 ii libaccountsservice0 0.6.45-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.26.0-2 ii libc6 2.24-17 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.15.8-2 ii libcairo2 1.15.8-2 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.30-4 ii libcanberra0 0.30-4 ii libcheese-gtk25 3.26.0-1+b1 ii libcheese8 3.26.0-1+b1 ii libclutter-1.0-0 1.26.2+dfsg-3 ii libclutter-gtk-1.0-0 1.8.4-2 ii libcolord-gtk1 0.1.26-1.1 ii libcolord2 1.3.3-2 ii libcups2 2.2.6-2 ii libfontconfig1 2.12.3-0.2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.11-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.54.1-1 ii libgnome-bluetooth13 3.26.1-1 ii libgnome-desktop-3-12 3.26.2-1 ii libgoa-1.0-0b 3.26.1-1 ii libgoa-backend-1.0-1 3.26.1-1 ii libgrilo-0.3-0 0.3.4-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.22.24-3 ii libgtop-2.0-11 2.38.0-1 ii libgudev-1.0-0 232-1 ii libibus-1.0-5 1.5.14-3 ii libkrb5-3 1.15.2-2 ii libmm-glib0 1.6.8-2 ii libnm0 1.10.0-1 ii libnma0 1.8.6-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.12-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.12-1 ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.105-18 ii libpulse-mainloop-glib0 11.1-1 ii libpulse0 11.1-1 ii libpwquality1 1.4.0-1 ii libsmbclient 2:4.7.1+dfsg-1 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.60.2-1 ii libupower-glib3 0.99.6-1 ii libwacom2 0.26-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 ii libxi6 2:1.7.9-1 ii libxml2 2.9.4+dfsg1-5+b1 Versions of packages gnome-control-center recommends: ii cracklib-runtime 2.9.2-5+b1 ii cups-pk-helper 0.2.6-1+b1 ii gkbd-capplet 3.26.0-2 ii gnome-online-accounts 3.26.1-1 ii gnome-user-docs 3.26.2-1 ii gnome-user-share 3.18.3-2 ii iso-codes 3.76-1 ii libcanberra-pulse 0.30-4 ii libnss-myhostname 235-3 ii mousetweaks 3.12.0-2 ii network-manager-gnome 1.8.6-1 ii policykit-1 0.105-18 ii pulseaudio-module-bluetooth 11.1-1 ii realmd 0.16.3-1 ii rygel 0.32.1-5 ii system-config-printer-common 1.5.9-2 Versions of packages gnome-control-center suggests: ii gnome-packagekit 3.22.1-2 ii gnome-software 3.26.2-1 ii gstreamer1.0-pulseaudio 1.12.3-1 ii libcanberra-gtk-module 0.30-4 ii libcanberra-gtk3-module 0.30-4 ii x11-xserver-utils 7.7+7+b1 -- no debconf information
