and subject line Bug#888995: fixed in dbus-cpp 5.0.1-2
has caused the Debian Bug report #888995,
regarding dbus-cpp: async_execution_load_test fails sometimes (randomly?)
to be marked as done.

This issue is still randomly failing. First of all, the patch intended to fix this issue does not have the wanted effect (timeout is stil at 300s) and we now see build success on architectures, that failed previously. And the test async_execution_loadtests are then very fast (less than one sec).

In fact, I have seen very similar random DBus failures in test environments with libqtdbustest and libqtdbusmock (see #879942 and #879937) that I chose to ignore at some point, if they happen on Debian's buildd infrastructure.

I'll be very happy if someone could share more wisdom on this...

Mike
