Dear Maintainer,
there seems to be a problem converting ' '. It results in "�~"
(resp. "Ã~") where "~" would be expected as result.
TYVM in advance for fixing, as this also breaks the HTML import of LyX.

I am afraid I cannot reproduce the bug. Could you send me a minimal
HTML to trigger this from? What is your locale?
FWIW, I tried this:
