The webkit2gtk developers believe this is already fixed in webkit2gtk
2.20.1 which should reach Testing in a few days.
The upstream bug is still open because webkit2gtk cherry-picked a
patch that Apple has not yet applied to webkit trunk.

I am able to reproduce this with any PDF exactly as described.
Every time the stack trace is printed to the console, another
line like this becomes visible in dmesg:

Sure. One is attached here (just quickly created with latex), but the issue
happens with *any* PDF file that I tried (and I tried many) so far.
