Here are some of the pain points I see: “The first one is the default action when something is not found in the list” => what is this "list" you are referring to? are we speaking of the list of packages available through the Method and which are considered by the update rule? are we speaking of the list of instructions contained in the files mentionned in the following parameters? “only packages listed in there as install or that are already there and are listed with upgradeonly will be installed” => what is the second "there"? does it refer to the files listing instructions (like the first "there") or to the packages already processed in the pipeline of the "update" or "pull" rule?
