Please file a bug report. pristine-tar: failed to generate tarball since things just work for most repositories, so it's not clear what the problem actually is. If I reinstall the previous tar 1.29b-2, everything just works. I pondered reporting against tar itself, but since pristine-tar tells me to report against it, there must be a hack in there that has been broken by the new innocent tar...
