I'm still using NIS in some use cases, so I'm interested in adopting it. I see that new packages are available with GPL−2 licenses and the whole package
requires changes to split the three sources originally merged together and re-organize for a modern packaging style. Eventually I'm also open to team maint, if anyone would be interested. -- Francesco P. Lovergine
