After the latest update to kmail in testing, several settings no longer have any effect. I want to set the preference for getting the HTML format of the mail by default, automatically downloading links. I also want to remove mails, using SHIFT-Delete without getting prompted if I really want do do this every time. All of this fails after the latest upgrade. The former two were a problem with an earlier version, when you cahnged the settinsg while running kmail through kontact. In that older version you could fix the problem by running kmail directly and changing the settings. That does not work this time. I have tried changing the settinge per folder, globally and editing the config file. Nothing works.
