Source: ndctl Version: 63-1 Severity: serious Tags: ftbfs ndctl fails to build in a clean chroot. This can be fixed by adding bash-completion and systemd to Build-Depends.
It might be nice if the build system would allow building systemd support without needing the systemd pkgconfig file, because some people want to be able to build Debian packages without installing systemd. Several other projects support this but I don't have the time to work on that right now. (I use systemd anyway.) There is also a mistake in debian/libndctl6-dev.install . Please replace powerpc64le-linux-gnu with * Build logs ------------- https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=ndctl Build log excerpt ----------------------- checking for BASH_COMPLETION... no configure: error: Package requirements (bash-completion >= 2.0) were not met: No package 'bash-completion' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix.
