Hi, I tried to work on this bug for a few hours, but I am quite puzzled: first of all, the issue I am experiencing right now is different from what is already described in the bug log. If I build meson with sbuild it fails because the test "test_generate_gir_with_address_sanitizer" in run_unittests.py fails (if I comment out that test, the package builds correctly). Such test consists in configuring and compiling the directory "test cases/frameworks/7 gnome" using meson, passing the options "-Db_sanitize=address -Db_lundef=false" to meson itself. Well, if I do that myself "by hand" meson and the compilation work without problems. I have tried in many ways to replicate the failure, for example by checking thoroughly passed options and environment variables, but I could not find the core point.
