If you build sumo then try to build it again you get a huge stream of errors about unrepresentable changes to the source. The problem is that the (large) docs directories are not cleaned. This is trivially fixed by adding a debian/clean file to tidy up the build directories and log, which looks like this: latex/ docs/doxygen/ docs/man/ docs/pydoc/ doxygen.log
