The U-Boot version that does not support network on the MACCHIATObin is
v2018.11.
U-Boot v2019.04 supports network and GRUB reaches the rescue console.
But I still think GRUB should not fail if networking is not available.

Since yesterday's upgrade of GRUB booting via U-Boot and GRUB-efi fails
on my MACCHIATObin. From the output I conclude that GRUB requires
network access which is not available with my U-Boot version.
