GRUB modules are on Scsi(1,0)/HD(3,..). Booting fails. The GRUB rescue console reports: grub> ls (proc) (hd0) (hd1) (hd1,msdos3) (hd1,msdos2) (hd1,msdos1) (hd2) So booting fails GRUB because it does not see the partitions on my harddisk. GRUB should report existing partitions on all devices, especially the one it is loaded from. Best regards Heinrich
