Package: dpkg-dev Version: 1.19.6 Hello Guillem et al. I don't fully understand how Rules-Requires-Root is supposed to work when not using dh or debhelper. To be precise, if I apply the patch below to hello-traditional_2.10-5 and do "dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -b" in a sid chroot, I get a .deb
