Hi Gustavo, yeah I'm only a DM so far - therefore I'd need a sponsor indeed. But back then - while I was convinced of the patch - I could not provide "a lot" of testing either other than my explicit debugging that I had done on the Ubuntu case.
But in the meantime this is active in Ubuntu for 16 months and I got no issue reports about it. I'd consider that extended testing and wanted to ask for sponsoring now. Just recently there was an update to numad 0.5+20150602-5.1 but it was only a general update (debhelper) and didn't pick up this open change.
