Package: gitk Version: 1:2.20.1-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Using gitk on a pretty plain GNOME setup on Debian/buster, the gitk app is showing the "tearoff" menu item for all the menus. It makes it really annoying to use the menus. A quick grep shows that gitk's code disabled it: ~ $ grep -i tearoff /usr/bin/gitk option add *Menu.TearOff 0 startupFile $rowctxmenu configure -tearoff 0 $fakerowmenu configure -tearoff 0 $headctxmenu configure -tearoff 0 $flist_menu configure -tearoff 0 $diff_menu configure -tearoff 0 screenshot attached. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (100, 'proposed-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gitk depends on: ii git 1:2.20.1-2 ii tk 8.6.9+1 gitk recommends no packages.
