Since recently mbsync command outputs an error: $ mbsync backup-hotmail C: 1/1 B: 5/5 M: +0/0 *0/0 #0/0 S: +0/0 *0/0 #0/0 Socket error: secure read from imap-mail.outlook.com (52.97.170.34:993): error:14095126:SSL routines:ssl3_read_n:unexpected eof while reading Googling about this issue I found two related links: * same issue on archlinux: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=253854 * openssl pull request about this bug: https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/11400 As far as I understand the bug appeared in openssl version 1.1.1e and was corrected in version 1.1.1f. It looks like this bug should be move to openssl instead. Feel free to move it.
