I don't use Debian ;-) but I have a wild guess / question: Is the usr.bin.man profile part of the apparmor package, or is is managed in the man package? If I can trust $searchengine, the command to check [1] is probably dpkg -S /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.man dpkg -S /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.bin.man If the file is owned by the man package, the man package might need to co-own the directory, or needs a dependency on the apparmor package to ensure the directory exists. Regards, Christian Boltz [1] I'm used to rpm -qf $file - but that won't work on Debian ;-) -- 0830?? on day 2 at FOSDEM? Good lord it will be a small miracle if I'm out of bed at that time, never mind at the venue ;) [Richard Brown in opensuse-project]
