Package: ifupdown2
Version: 1.2.5-1
Severity: normal

I tried ifupdown2 on a system that mounts NFS mounts at boot and the script /etc/network/if-up.d/mountnfs (from package initscripts) cannot mount the nfs mounts from /etc/fstab anymore because it relies on "ifquery --state $INTERFACE" to check if the network interface is up.

The "mountnfs" script expect the return code of "ifquery --state $INTERFACE" to be 0 for an interface that is up but because the option doesn't exist on the "ifquery" of ifupdown2, it will always exit with a code of 2 and thus breaking the test.
