Package: src:python-dynaconf
Severity: wishlist

Dear maintainer,

I have interest in python-dynaconf in Debian being bumped to a version greater than 3.0. Is that something, you can do in the near future? If not, would it ok, if I prepared an upload and did a DPT team upload? Recent upstreamn version seems to be 3.1.1.

Would it make sense to go through experimental with such an upload first? The only other package in Debian that depends on dynaconf is the ara-server package. I haven't dug very deep, yet, regarding API changes in Dynaconf 3.x, but we'd surely need to check, whether ara-server can live happily together with Dynaconf 3.x.

Please get back to me on how to proceed with a version upgrade of dynaconf in Debian.

Thanks!
Mike
