Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. See policy 7.6 at https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#overwriting-files-and-replacing-packages-replaces The other init system packages seem to have mutual Conflicts+Replaces, finit will have to join this in some way. These file conflicts exist: Between finit-sysv and sysvinit-core/runit-init: sbin/halt sbin/init sbin/poweroff sbin/reboot sbin/shutdown sbin/telinit usr/share/man/man8/halt.8.gz usr/share/man/man8/init.8.gz usr/share/man/man8/poweroff.8.gz usr/share/man/man8/shutdown.8.gz usr/share/man/man8/telinit.8.gz Between finit and systemd-sysv/sysvinit-core/runit-init: usr/share/man/man8/reboot.8.gz Which also rises the question: Is the reboot(8) manpage in the correct package? cheers, Andreas
