Package: arch-install-scripts
Version: 21-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I just saw the latest arch-install-scripts upload pass by and wondered what
the package does, so I read the short description:

Description-en: scripts aimed at automating some menial tasks when
debootstrapping

and then I was confused, because 'debootstrapping' is a Debian term while
"arch-install-scripts" and the homepaging pointing to
https://git.archlinux.org/arch-install-scripts.git made me think this is
something
for Arch Linux, so I read
https://git.archlinux.org/arch-install-scripts.git/about/ which says:

This is a small suite of scripts aimed at automating some menial tasks when
installing Arch Linux.

which made me think the short description of the Debian package is wrong. But
then I read the long description which also has this sentence: "These scripts
can also aid when debootstrapping a Debian based system." which now make me
wonder how these scripts can also be helpful for Debian systems :)

So I would suggest:

a.) include "Arch Linux" in the short description
b.) drop "debootstrapping" from the short description
c.) briefly explain how/where these scripts can help with debootstrapping
Debian (and not only state that they can do this.)

Some people say that the climate crisis is something that we all have created,
but that is not true, because if everyone is guilty then no one is to blame.
And someone is to blame. Some people, some companies, some decision-makers in
particular, have known exactly what priceless values they have been sacrificing
to continue making unimaginable amounts of money. (Greta Thunberg)
