As said, this is very cryptic in particular on an SSD. I am running
several (>3) systems and in none of them this behaviour is shown.

And one more question: Isn't texlive-fonts-extra

Upgrading texlive-fonts-extra takes incredibly long (>20'),
and slows down all other processes.
This issue has been reported before, and has been transferred
