a workaround is use a custom instead:
mountpoint /replace_by_the_moint_point_of_the_external_storage/ && 
/usr/bin/nice -n 19 /usr/bin/ionice -c2 -n7 /usr/bin/backintime --backup-job >> 
/var/log/backintime.log 2>&1
