I am afraid that won't be enough. Tao.FFmpeg still refers to functions that
have been removed from libav a long time ago. Further
g special about the file that causes
yafc to segfault? Does the segfault happen if you try to download only this one

Does this also happen with the version in jessie/sid? (The 1.2.x series has

correct for anything else. Unless a simple
$ gcc -c $(pkg-config --cflags check) test.c -o test.o

does not work, the pkgconfig file is broken (which is the original
problem reported in #712140). There are also packages that seem to FTBFS

(Also note that other libraries that require one to use -pthread have it

examples of these include gmodule-2.0.pc, OpenIPMIpthread.pc, fuse.pc,

If the binNMU request is not for unstable, I believe the suite should be
included and it should look like this:

transition"
Furthermore, libav currently fails to build due

Indeed, on i386 it fails to build with noopt and nostrip. But at least
on amd64 is builds just fine with these options set.

According to the discussion on the upstream mai

libav was involved in the x264 transition, but the version rebuilt
against libx264-142 already migrated to testing.

There is a patch available at [1]. As stated in #688538, Balint wants to
switch to this new upstream, so I'm marking it as fixed-upstream.

There seems to be fix available upstream [1]. The patch probably needs
to be adopted to use libavresample instead of libswresample.
