Package: approx
Version: 3.3.0
Severity: normal
i don't know if it's a significant problem(it seems to clean old
packages from the cache), but gc_approx, when run manually or from
cron.weekly always seems to report an error:
/etc/cron.weekly/approx:
Not_found

it seems like this bug is still present:

i downloaded the sshfs-fuse 2.1 tarball, built debian packages (only
adding a new entry in debian/changelog) and installed them, and it seems
to work, although i haven't done extensive testing.

which patch?
if it's a simple patch based on ldm 2.0.6, i can try and get it into
lenny.
otherwise, without a patch that's tested

so, i've spent many hours and tried many patches, and while it's
definitely possible to get tcsh logins with ldm sort of working, it's
almost impossible to get it working cleanly and consistantly.
we'd have to either prepend '/bin/sh -c foo ; bar

i seem to also experience this bug on a reasonably clean install.
if i log in and click on System - Log Out and click on Log Out on
the dialog, the dialog disappears and nothing happens for 1-2 minutes,
and then it actually logs

this sounds like it might be similar to a recently closed bug in
fuse-utils:
#473545: fuse-utils: /dev/fuse belongs to group root after first-time-install
