I can reproduce the build problem in an i386 sid pbuilder. Changing
"--with-perl" to "--without-perl" or adding "libperl-dev" to the
build-dependencies on debian/control.in will fix the build problem. I
don't know which is better, but at least they both seem simple fixes.
