Because this package is blocking the C++ transition (e.g., rekall
requires it, rekall blocks KDE), I intend to NMU a rebuilt version in

the attached patch makes gnome-alsamixer build again. If the prospective
new maintainer of this package doesn't react in time, I will NMU this
during next weekend's BSP.
