I have evolution-2.6.2-3 and avolution-exchange-2.6.2-3 installed in my etch distrib and I still get this problem.

used to be build with perl support before on i386, but it's not

There is no wx-dev or wx2.6-dev package.Not only that, the debian
package search tool says that wx-config does not exist in any package
in the stable or unstable distributions.
turns out wx-config is somewhere in libwxbase*
I tried with 2.6.17 and it's ok; the size reductions made in this version bring
it back down to being small enough (although it's close; see below). I hope a
new version of the 2.6.16 kernel can be released with those same changes (I
understand that one was turning off selinux support for nslu2).
