As Steve showed, the bug is really about the impossibility of mixing random
versions. In my book, that is user error. I do not prevent it as maintainer

Looking at the package's file lists in packages.debian.org/yasr the
bug is only present in amd64. The only difference between it and te
rest of the archs is build date, all others are from march 2004, amd64
is from march 2006.
A current rebuild in i386 does trigger the bug.
