tags 519564 + fixed-upstream thanks It seems you don't have to debug any further, you can ignore my previous request. The issue seems to be that some GTK functions may be called before g_thread_init(). It has been fixed in abiword SVN with r25684 [1], which is contained in 2.6.8. [1]
