Hi,
This problem is not related to any particular package but can be
triggered by any package when the APT
cache is "full".
You can fix this by adding like that in your /etc/apt/apt.conf file:
APT::Cache-Limit 16777216;

Hi,
After quick investigation, it appears that this is actually not
related to sarge->etch upgrade, but to the fact that install is run in
non-interactive mode.

No, it wouldn't. The problem does not really come from the licence of any
part of VLC itself, but from how the debian/copyright file acknowled

Hello,
The simplest fix is to simply drop the debian/libjudydebian1.shlibs
package and to let dh_makeshlibs do its work

Hello,
It actually looks like something is wrong with your pygtk install.
Could you please paste:
- the output of dpkg -l|egrep "python-gtk|python2.3-gtk"
- the contents of /var/lib/dpkg/info/python-gtk2.list and
/var/lib/dpkg/info/python2.3-gtk2.list
- the output of ls -l /usr/lib/python2.3/sit
You
might try reinstalling python-gtk2

Hello,
I cannot currently test this bug with python-2.3 due to #339718.

However, with python 2.4, everything works correctly for me.
Could you tell me which python version you are using (python -V)?
