Hello,
The PyGpiv package is not maintained anymore from upsream. So I think
it's a good idea to remove python-gpiv from Sid. As I'm not a DD, I
cannot do this by myself.

Hi Anton,
Thanks very much for the repair. The package can be uploaded without
delay. Again, thanks for the effort.
Many greetings, Gerber

I created a patch that is included in libgpiv3_0.6.1-4. Though, I do not
find any bug reports on the Bug tracking system of this package:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=libgpiv3;dist=unstable
So, uploading (by a sponsor, as I'm not a DD) might give problems. What
to do? Thanks, G
Thanks, I will have a look at it. Gerber

Hi,
I applied your modification. Though when building the deb package I get:
dh_pysupport: Cannot detect default Python version
There has been a bugreport #572155 reporting this message as well, but
it seems to be solved. Any idea what I can do? Thanks, Gerber

Package: libgpiv3
Version: 0.6.1-2+b2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
While performing interrogation with gpiv_rr (from the gpivtools package) or
with Gpiv, the results on the testing image from the python-gpiv package gives
completely unrealistic results. Probably caused
Please check the location of mpi.h on your system when having
mpi-default-dev installed. It should be at /usr/include/mpi/mpi.h
