No I do not agree that it should be orphaned. I am currently in the middle
of finishing a basement redesign to build out an office so my computers are
currently offline. Dust and servers don't mix unless you want to make costly
server repairs.

Well known issue for ... oh the past year or two IIRC... It's why I haven't
done anything with any PEAR packages in almost 2 years now... file away the
bug and it will sit until the PHP license changes.

It was the PHP License itself that was the problem and unless it's been
revised to deal with the issues that had already been brought up to the PHP
