Hi, I've looked at proposed patch and by my opinion it is not a good solution. This patch is just temporary workaround and it is not included in the upstream version. At the moment, I can not find a satisfactory solution, and I am rather for removing gtk3-engines-unico from testing than to upload with this patch.
