Hello,
kdepim-runtime randomly FTBFSes on ia64 [1][2]. This is likely caused by race
condition
in the build system when the package is built in parallel mode.

Even more, this bug is way more worse, because current xdg-email is barely
usable under KDE. None of its options seem to work except mailto-uri.

At very least your base system is outdated. Failure is weird and points
towards problem with base installation. You are free to use whatever you
believe is OK, but we cannot support every weird mix out there. Sorry.

Your system is misconfigured and likely half-upgraded. You have "5.0.4" as
debian version but you seem to run some sort of stable/testing/unstable mix.
This is not supported. Please choose one flavour and dist-upgrade fully to it.
This is one of the reasons why severity of the bug was downgraded.

The point is vtk NEEDS sourceful upload even if I fix FindJNI. Please don't
put it like cmake is blocking something here. Just exclude i386,amd64,powerpc
in vtk debian/rules for the time being to get quick resolution.

K_INTERFACE_LIBRARIES property and support for IMPORTED targets. So it is
time for vtk to properly use those.

ild/CMakeCache.txt
So that's where the powerpc FTBFS is coming from. It *overrides* proper value
FindJNI sets on powerpc. It is also true that you cannot drop this workaround
until #544674 is fixed. You will have to improve it.

better way how to fix the bug rather than
hardcode numerous paths for each arch. In particular, I looking how java
determines its jre/lib/ dir. I will upload today or tomorrow.

Severity important because I agree that the bug is annoying. But not all your
pet bugs are serious.

This might be related to KDE since kcachegrind is also a KDE app. A few
suggestions for Qt4 only apps:
1) test qtconfig-qt4 (from the package qt4-qtconfig)
2) test with designer-qt4 (from the package qt4-designer)

The fix (f7158591929b7870b165e72a306c6f98f1662569) is in my dpkg branch:
git://git.debian.org/users/modax-guest/dpkg.git
It contains another 2 patches which are really small and could be merged too.

Hence I believe the severity should be lowered but I'm not doing it just now.
