Done, it actually FTBFSed with PHP 8.4 and had to be fixed.
It is now waiting in NEW now (because of php8.4-mcrypt is NEW),
so if you need to fix this earlier, you need to work your magic :)

Thanks,
I've now uploaded the fixed package to both unstable and bookworm-security.
The bookworm-security package needs to be processed by the security team,
so it might take a little bit longer than the version in unstable which should

But this will still affect non-Debian builds too, so it would be ideal if Samba

The reason why we do so is that libuv has some changes between version that
don’t propagate to ABI. I might be able to drop this in unstable though and

Thanks Alvin,
we already did that in BIND 9.16+, so I merged the change in BIND 9.11 branch
and it will be included in the next BIND 9 release.
I’ll speak to the release team if we will ignore it for Debian stable, or we
will
have to do the dance with dfsg tarball.

Thanks, I’ll have this sorted in about a week, but it’s a bit mayhem right now

Lucas,
could you please stop testing PHP extensions for a while? I am in process of
updating all of them, and the RC bugs are not helpful at this particular moment.
Thanks,

Hi Thorsten,
I agree with you about the missing copyright holders, that needs to be
fixed.
But using the: "License: MPL-2.0 and ISC and BSD-2-clause and BSD-3-clause"
is a great simplification and it's not that far fetched. Listing every
different file

The Debian stable has been fixed shortly after the new version was updated.
There’s no strong security update guarantee for unstable and testing. From the
security team FAQ:

Hi Salvatore,
thanks for the debdiff. That looks good to me and if you have time to do the
upload, please do so.

Xavier,
feel free to ask for membership in salsa and add yourself to Uploaders and do
the upload.
I haven’t used cyrus-imapd in years, so I am maintaining it just out of inertia
and because nobody stepped up until now. So thank you very mich for caring.

Hi Xavier,
yes, the comaintainers are really sought.
The emails here should reset the autoremoval status, so if you have time to fix
this bug, it doesn’t need to be downgraded, just fixed...

Please don’t abuse severities. Or explain how this “makes the package in
question unusable or mostly so, or causes data loss, or introduces a security
hole allowing access to the accounts of users who use the package.”

I tried to use sbuild with
--no-arch-all --no-arch-any --source-only-changes
and upload the result, so we’ll see how it goes. If it doesn’t go through,
I’ll do the full fledged build tomorrow.

Hi,
I believe that it was the case before that if the autoremoval was due a
specific RC bug, any activity on that specific bug would reset the timer for
autoremoval.
But it might have changed since… or my memory is failing me.
Cheers,

3. I commented out all IDNA2003 tests as I suspect that something has moved to
IDNA2008 and that's causing failure
And then it started to be beyond my current understanding of the code and the

Hi,

in debian/rules. This is not necessary and in fact it's harmful
because kopanocore FTBFS every time default PHP version
