A similar problem occurs with openoffice 1.1.3 in sarge although in this case the crash occurs not when saving a file but when launching the application. Again, downgrading to libfreetype6_2.1.7-2.4 solved the problem, as did upgrading to libfreetype6_2.1.7-3.
