I've had a short look into this: it seems that marvosym is only used for the test in ./testdata/scad/2D/features/text-font-symbol.scad, which aparrently uses the bundled version of marvosym from ./testdata/ttf/marvosym-3.10. There are no patches that change anything about those paths in the test,
