Unfortunately same issue here with convert and 9.06~dfsg-2+deb8u9, any chance to fix this? convert -density 300 ws.pdf -depth 8 scan.jpeg [...] GPL Ghostscript 9.06: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 convert: no images defined `scan.jpeg' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/3210. Samuel

Bug#788062: os-prober corrupts LVs/partitions while being mounted inside a VM

Unfortunately I must confirm this bug which is high critical! My workaround was apt-get --purge remove os-prober

I can confirm the problem on a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz in LibreOffice 4. Replace the graphic card by a nvidia (with nvidia-glx) has solved the problem.
