Package: opensmtpd-extras Version: 5.7.1-4+b2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? I'm trying to set up opensmtpd for virtual domains, with a sqlite table backend to read alias, domains, users and infos * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? After setting the /etc/smtpd.conf as described in the manual to access sqlite backend, opensmtpd refuse to start, issuing the following warning: warn: table-proc: pipe closed * What was the outcome of this action? see previous bullet * What outcome did you expect instead? I expect that opensmtpd starts and access sqlite db to read user data I see another similar issue with the LDAP plugin. The reporter hinted that the problem may be caused by a release mismatch. It may be, but in this case, the issue is not limited to ldap plugin but to the all opensmtpd-extras package.
